Our in-depth laser physics expertise and over 30 years of experience set Raymax apart from other laser suppliers. We don’t expect you to come to us already clear on what you want. (Although if you do, great!) Instead, come to us with the material and outcome you want to achieve. We use our vast knowledge, experience, tools and network at our disposal to figure out the right solution for your laser material interaction query.
Our clients come to Raymax Lasers with a specific goal in mind. That goal has 2 parts: the material (metal, plastic, wood, glass etc.) and the thing you want to do to it. That might be drill, cut, modify, weld, re-surface. Basically, you want to process it in some way. We follow a rigorous evaluation process to find the most fit-for-purpose and cost-effective solution. Those 30+ years, we know this is the best approach.
Failing to validate a laser actually works is a huge mistake we’ve seen other distributors and customers make too often. It’s not worth the risk. We have a lab here in Australia with a range of laser equipment accessing wavelengths from 193 nm to 11,000nm (11 microns). If we’re not sure your material can be processed to the required standards, we’ll test it. If it’s not possible in our lab, we can leverage our large academic and laser partner network. Any recommendation we make is based on proof of concept.
Those 30+ years we talk about, that’s your head start. We’ve been demonstrating what’s possible with lasers for a long time. We partner with research facilities and cutting-edge industry leaders. When you choose Raymax Lasers, you’re partnering with an expert. Our goal is to innovate wherever possible, so you end up with a better laser solution than you imagined possible.
We’re the laser expert intermediary between you and our laser manufacturing partners. We have in-depth knowledge of lasers and laser systems partners. And we understand the effect lasers have on a wide range of materials. But that’s not all. We also understand your processes, whether that’s in manufacturing, industry or research. It’s hard to find a laser physicist who knows the ins and outs of real-world applications. It’s hard to find factory-trained engineers who understand laser physics. But that’s what we do.
We supply a large range of lasers from leading manufacturers around the world. This means fewer headaches than if you had to go individually to every single manufacturer. It also means we’re able to offer you the most cost-effective solution, or even multiple solutions, for the material interaction you’re hoping to achieve.
We make laser light work for you. We’ve spent over 30 years demonstrating what’s possible with lasers. In doing so, we’ve helped modernise Australian and New Zealand industries. You’ll be working with a team of physicists and factory-trained engineers—leaders in the supply of laser solutions and photonics equipment. We’re experts in material interaction research. Wherever possible, you’ll be introduced to new technology that can improve operation in ways you might not have imagined possible.
