This well-established German laser manufacturer was the first to develop a compact, high repetition rate, short-pulse excimer laser. That was in 1994. Several decades and product generations later, they remain the technology leaders in this field.
Their portfolio spans thousands of very small and compact lasers used in industrial, medical, and scientific applications. ALT excimer lasers are used for micro-drilling, Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG), eye surgery, and medical imaging.
ALT also partners with Optec to offer UV micromachining systems. These are used in R&D and industrial applications, such as microelectronics.
At the core of the ALTEX range is a patented metal-ceramic laser tube. The air-cooled excimer lasers provide excellent beam quality and beam pointing stability. While competing lasers have a Gaussian beam profile, the ALTEX range results in a rectangular beam more suited for material processing and medical applications.
We make laser light work for you. We’ve spent over 30 years demonstrating what’s possible with lasers. In doing so, we’ve helped modernise Australian and New Zealand industries. You’ll be working with a team of physicists and factory-trained engineers—leaders in the supply of laser solutions and photonics equipment. We’re experts in material interaction research. Wherever possible, you’ll be introduced to new technology that can improve operation in ways you might not have imagined possible.
