They are efficient machines to run thanks to the fact they are mostly air-cooled, so no need for fans, and they have high electrical efficiency.
These compact lasers offer sub-ns pulse duration, as short as 100 picoseconds, in a range of wavelengths. The short pulse length ensures very high peak power. These lasers may be compact, but they pack a real punch.
