ThetaMetrisis was established in 2009 as a spinoff of the Institute of Microelectronics at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” in Greece, and specialises in developing and manufacturing tools for the rapid, accurate, and non-destructive characterisation of coatings and thin films.
ThetaMetrisis’ core technology is White Light Reflectance Spectroscopy (WLRS), which is capable of the assessment of single-layer or multi-layer stacks (both supported and unsupported), determination of refractive index and color, and execution of static, dynamic, at-line, or in-line measurements, with resolutions available from millimetres to nanometres. Their tools range from single-point measurement devices to ultra-fast, high-resolution 2D and 3D thickness mapping imagine systems. ThetaMetrisis tools are already being used in over two hundred sites worldwide, in fields including semiconductor manufacturing, industrial fabrication, biomedical production, optical coatings, and research and development facilities.
ThetaMetrisis’ twenty person team executes 100% of hardware design, software development and algorithm engineering in-house in order to maintain strict internal quality standards.
