Hyperspectral imaging and spectral scanning allow you to analyse items as diverse as the oxygen concentration in a field or a masterpiece painting.
But traditionally, spectrometer systems were applied in a scientific or otherwise controlled environment. They offer tremendous resolution over a wide wavelength range but are not often suited for industrial applications. This is where you may be able to compromise with slightly lower resolution and wavelength range but greater ruggedness to achieve the desired result.
High-resolution Hyspex hyperspectral cameras offer the “lowest cost per pixel”, but their capabilities can exceed the requirements of general industrial identification.
Recent developments in the field are opening up opportunities. There are now cost-effective and rugged cameras being used in industrial, mining and military applications where the camera characteristics match the task’s requirement. You can also access machines that are suitable and cost-effective for field use.
Raymax has systems installed in all the above applications, including industrial, mining and military.
Whether it’s looking for leaks in industrial packaging, chasing higher yields in crop production and storage, analysing fish as they travel along a conveyor, identifying undesirable components in a mixture, or looking for military advantage, we can adapt and optimise the software to meet your requirements.
We make laser light work for you. We’ve spent over 30 years demonstrating what’s possible with lasers. In doing so, we’ve helped modernise Australian and New Zealand industries. You’ll be working with a team of physicists and factory-trained engineers—leaders in the supply of laser solutions and photonics equipment. We’re experts in material interaction research. Wherever possible, you’ll be introduced to new technology that can improve operation in ways you might not have imagined possible.
